This two-book curriculum challenges students to address work-relaed dilemmas viewed from the perspective of different characters. Acting Out incorporates read-aloud scenarios, role plays, and small group discussion with worksheets.

The Student Book presents a sequence of seven acts: Responsibility, Respect, Fairness, Citizenship, Trustworthiness, Caring, and Civic Responsibiltiy. Each act has three scenes emphasizing the viewpoint of different charcters. Students act out the role plays, then reflect on varying outcomes. The Teacher's Guide provides an overview of the curriculum plus the complete Student Book with suggested answers.
